How about this: Because Batman and Catwoman are characters in a medium created for CHILDREN, you fucking overgrown infants!
“But adults read those comic books!” Fine, but they are for CHILDREN. These are comic books. They are written for children. I mean, how more clearly can I state it? Comic books have pictures in them and minimal dialog and less exposition because they are for children.
“But there are comic books for adults like The Sandman.” Yes, but Batman wasn’t created for adults. It was created–and I can not stress this enough–for children.
